the story behind sacred steps

Hi! I'm Trisha, a pediatric occupational therapist with over 12 years of experience helping children learn, regulate, and thrive through purposeful movement.

Every day, I watched children come alive when they were given opportunities to move. I also watched incredible teachers, therapists, and school leaders work tirelessly to support their students—but often without simple, practical tools that fit naturally into the school day.

I knew movement wasn't just a break from learning—it could become part of learning.

That's where Sacred Steps began.

I wanted to create sensory pathways and movement activities that were more than colorful decals on a floor. Every product is intentionally designed to encourage regulation, motor skills, executive functioning, mindfulness, and meaningful learning while fitting seamlessly into classrooms, hallways, therapy spaces, churches, libraries, childcare centers, and hospitals.

As both an occupational therapist and a business owner, I still work directly with children. That means every product is inspired by real experiences, refined through everyday practice, and designed to solve real challenges faced by educators and therapists.

Today, Sacred Steps products are installed in schools and organizations across 25 states and Canada, serving Catholic schools, Christian schools, public schools, therapy clinics, hospitals, childcare centers, libraries, and counseling offices.

Whether you're looking to transform an entire hallway, create a calming corner, or simply add a few purposeful movement activities, my goal is the same: to help children move, regulate, and learn in ways that are engaging, meaningful, and easy to implement.

Thank you for visiting Sacred Steps. I'm so grateful you're here, and I can't wait to help you create spaces where children can truly thrive.
